Coach Ash Jones

TRAINER

HIIT - Strength - Boxing

Coach Ashley is a resistance workout master and ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor. She specializes in strength development, high intensity interval training, overall conditioning and boxing. She understands that every day is different and every client has their own unique set of goals. She pushes members to their individual limits in each class. She’s a technician on proper form, provides a lot of feedback on body position and is happy to help make adjustments as needed. Coach Christopher “Tip”

TRAINER

Boxing - Conditioning - Strength - Running - Explosiveness

Tip is a boxer and marathon runner (6 and counting!) from Inglewood, CA. He specializes in Boxing, total body conditioning, running and explosiveness. His classes provide a calm, disciplined approach with a focus on Boxing Technique - keeping the mind occupied throughout the workout. His favorite classes of the week are when he gets to coach and inspire children. He lives by the mantra “One brick a day builds a wall!” and is very popular with both members and parents.

 
 
 

 

Coach Moon Ameen

TRAINER

Muay Thai - Mobility - Strength - Self Defense  

Movement, health and self-awareness. These concepts are the cornerstone of Moon Ameen’s approach to overall mind, body and spiritual wellness. After graduating from San Jose State University with a degree in Industrial Engineering, Moon determined that his passion lay not in fine tuning hardware, but continually improving the human body. Early on, Moon coined his personal brand of teaching as NEX movements or “no excuses movements”, because he understands that, regardless of limitations, a balanced fitness regimen is required for progress, results and overall well being. 

Moon is a certified ISSA personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist with more than 10 years in health coaching, fitness mentorship, and self defense training. He is also an avid Muay Thai practitioner and teacher, having studied the martial art for over almost two decades. Moon’s NEX movements allow anyone to improve their strengths and mobility, broaden their perspective, experience personal growth and gain a better understanding of how their mind and body work together. He works with all ages and fitness levels and his personal experience with joint and back injuries makes him particularly suited to support others on their journey to recovery.

 
 

 
 

Coach Deon “Slim” Miller

Coach Slim specializes in boxing and the natural strength and conditioning that comes with the sport. His workouts are physically demanding, boxing focused routines with very low rest periods, making them tough, fun and rewarding. Coach “Yo” Yolanda

TRAINER

Boxing - Kickboxing - Strength - Conditioning

Coach Yo is a certified boxing instructor with over a decade of experience in boxing and kickboxing. She works with clients ranging from youth to those in their later years and believes it is never too late to start on your fitness journey.

Coach Yo incorporates nutrition into her training plan with clients. She encourage good eating habits and pairs this with consistent workouts to get you your desired results - even when you don’t want to!

Her classes are a fun. She incorporates a challenging mix of boxing and strength training to keep you motivated. The results will come!

Yolanda loves teaching at Beastie to stay connected with the Manhattan Beach community. She believes fitness can help shape your confidence, your clarity and your longevity.
